Capitola, CA – April 6, 2023 – Bay Federal Credit Union has brought in some great new talent to compliment its already strong collection of managers: Cora Bentz, Tyler Boyett, and Nicole Colipapa.
Bay Federal recently introduced Cora Bentz as its new Loan Servicing Manager. In her role, Ms. Bentz will manage a staff of six and oversee the Credit Union’s servicing, which it does entirely in-house.
Ms. Bentz has worked in the financial industry in multiple areas of lending for more than a decade. She brings deep knowledge of process improvements, procedure documentation, and vendor relations. She prides herself on empowering employees and member-facing staff to improve the member experience.
The Credit Union has also brought on Tyler Boyett as its new Card Services Manager. In his role, Mr. Boyett will manage the credit and debit card portfolio and move Bay Federal forward in the ever-changing payments industry.
He also brings nearly a decade of experience in credit unions and extensive knowledge of card services. His goals are to enhance fraud mitigation strategies, to streamline processes, and to lead his team in continuing to provide exceptional member service.
“I really believe in what credit unions stand for,” Mr. Boyett said. “The credit union movement started as People Helping People, and I’ve seen that first-hand. I think it’s something worth pursuing and working hard to support.”
Nicole Colipapa was recently introduced as its Consumer Lending Manager. She will oversee consumer loan underwriting and indirect funding. Ms. Colipapa brings a solutions-driven outlook, a candid communication style, and expertise in both relationship and project management. She is passionate about lending and making a real difference in the financial lives of members.
In her new role, Mss. Colipapa looks forward to exploring fresh ideas, helping employees attain their professional goals, and lifting consumer lending to the next level.
