Capitola, CA – February 2, 2022 – Bay Federal Credit Union has announced the promotion of Allyson Stengl to Vice President, Consumer and Business Lending.
Mrs. Stengl has worked for the Credit Union for over ten years, starting as a loan underwriter, team lead, Consumer Lending Manager, and most recently AVP of Consumer Lending. She played integral roles in projects that resulted in improvements in loan origination and underwriting efficiencies during her time at Bay Federal. In her new role, Stengl will utilize her expertise to strengthen the credit union's business lending initiatives and continue to guide all consumer lending functions.

Mrs. Stengl is a graduate of Leadership Santa Cruz County and the inaugural class of BayFed University, the Credit Union’s management training program. She is also in her third and final year of Western CUNA Management School. Mrs. Stengl is a 2020 Service Excellence Award winner, Bay Federal’s most prestigious award for employees, voted by her peers at the Credit Union. She is a resident of Aptos, where she lives with her husband and two children.
