Born in Santa Cruz, Yesenia Alvarez feels fortunate to have called this county home her whole life. Yesenia began her career in the mortgage industry in 2005 as a mortgage coordinator and has since held roles as a production assistant, junior loan officer, and loan officer. She has worked for Bank of America, Chase, loanDepot, and Santa Cruz Community Credit Union and is excited to return to Bay Federal for a second tenure.
When asked about joining the Bay Federal team, Yesenia shared, “I love helping families get into their very own homes. Guiding them through the loan process and ensuring they fully understand their loan is key to creating successful homeowners!”
Yesenia earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business from Cabrillo College, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from San Jose State University. In her free time, she enjoys camping, exploring local beaches, and visiting snowy mountains with her partner, two children, and their two Yorkies.
